In addition to progressive banking services they now offer insurance and investments. Their Trust Services Department, established in 1987, holds over $1.5 billion in assets. Besides the Bayport location, their branch network includes full service offices in Stillwater, Oak Park Heights, and Hudson. They also have part time offices at Boutwells Landing in Oak Park Heights, St. Andrew’s Village in Mahtomedi and Woodland Hill in Hudson.

During the event several of the same employees were there that also attended the original ribbon cutting 20 years ago. After the formal ribbon cutting the First State Bank and Trust team tried to duplicate the 1998 picture, standing in some of the same places they did 20 years ago in front of the same building. Lots of laughter and memories were shared on a beautiful day in front of the bank.
First State Bank and Trust takes excellent care of their customers and gives back thousands of dollars to the community yearly. They are the same community bank with local ownership and management that was established more than one hundred years ago.
