At the Friday, October 14 WBB monthly meeting, we welcome Karyn Bye, two-time Olympian speaking on Trailblazing to Success!After watching the men's 1980 Olympic Hockey team win the gold medal, Karyn wanted to be an Olympian.
Listen to her journey to the Olympics and what she has learned from her success.
Speaker: Karyn ByeKaryn is a two-time Olympian, capturing the first ever Gold Medal in Women's hockey in 1998 in Nagano, Japan.
She continued her hockey career and won the Silver Medal in the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the assistant captain and was honored two times as the USA Hockey Women's Player of the Year. Karyn has a B.S. degree from the University of New Hampshire and a graduate degree from Concordia University in Montreal. Bye has been inducted into 9 Hall of Fames, with the most recent being the National High School Hall of Fame. Karyn currently lives in Hudson WI
and works for Pro 3 Solutions.
