At the October 9th WBB monthly meeting, we are hosting a meeting called WBB Member Takeover!
It will be a series of presentations aimed at teaching our members, and women in business guests, something they can use in either their personal or their professional lives.
Three WBB members will be featured in presentations that will:
>Be 15 minutes in length, leaving 5 minutes for questions
>Teach a skill either personal or professional with learning outcomes that our membership would be interested in
>Give our members the opportunity to share their vast knowledge that we know that you all hold and the opportunity to learn from each other
>Be totally awesome!

Given our current digital working environment, GOOGLE serves as a great platform to work with your team, gather information from your potential clients, and store information that can be accessed anywhere. It's a great way to have your information available and share with clients, coworkers and partners.Jessica ThienesBreathe and Move:
A Study in Physicality, Breath and Voice based on Alexander technique, Suzuki method, biometrics and movement study. WBB members will learn some basic exercises associated with public speaking and presentation preparation, learning the basic components of movement and expression study and how they can pertain to networking, sales and development. This talk will be geared towards self-presentation, salesmanship, reading a crowd and pacing. I will also share more about basic prep that is helpful when geared towards public speaking and kinesthetic awareness.

A conversation based on mental health training through Health Partners. Let’s talk about how to break the stigma about mental illness, how to engage in conversations about mental health. We’ll also touch on the warning signs of a mental health emergency and how you can offer assistance to someone in a mental health crisis.
