How Race and Racism shape belonging in our own community
Recent events have highlighted the impact of America's racially-charged culture on the well-being of Black Americans in our communities. To help navigate this complex issue, Dorie Bliss will introduce us to the frame of "belonging" and what it means for a community to create structures that determine who belongs and who does not. A good reminder of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion.
Using her background in public health, Dorie will lead us in a discussion of how race and racism shape belonging in our own community, and what we can do to create change.
Register today and join us for this important presentation and open discussion.
**Let's keep it going!**
After this session we hope you will continue to educate and inform yourself.
