SCULPTURE TITLE: Unmasked
SCULPTURE DESCRIPTION: We can never truly understand the hardships others have going on internally. For most people, sadness is generally easy to hide, but hiding behind a false mask of happiness slowly breaks you down. This sculpture exhibits a woman drowning in her emotional state with a look of defeat. She is disintegrating under the pressure of life. The biggest lesson we hope to teach through this sculpture is for everyone to show and exert kindness to those around us. You never know the positive impact you will have on another individual whose struggles are unseen.
