SCULPTURE TITLE: Boxing Hares

SCULPTURE DESCRIPTION: The boxing hares, is a figurative sculpture reminiscing the medieval European heraldic tradition . As a traditional sculptor I like to show the concentration and emotion of figures in facial and body movement. The drama of the boxing match, in this case by the male hares as the demonstrate there physical prowess to the female. Also i have developed the sculpture for balance of snow weight and striking attention....quite literally. Notice the use of buttress legs to support, like medieval cathedral structures. and the thinning of the ears to show light through and reduce weight.
