    >Who is hosting this event?

    This event is hosted by the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce Foundation in partnership with the City of Stillwater. A Steering Committee was formed to plan and execute the event.

    >Where is the event located?

    The event will be located in Lowell Park, along the banks of the St. Croix River, near the historic lift bridge. Lowell Park address is 201 Water Street N., Stillwater, Minnesota, 55082. Activities will also be inside of Water Street Inn, 101 Water Street. This event location is just steps away from a bustling main street that features shops & galleries, boutiques and every flavor of restaurant, and a couple of miles from Afton, Bayport, Lake Elmo, Marine on the St. Croix and Oak Park Heights!     >Is the event wheelchair accessible? 

    Myrtle Street is wheelchair accessible down to the Gazebo, nearby the sculptures, in Lowell Park. The walkways around/closest to viewing the sculptures will be snowy and potentially icy and bumpy due to weather conditions. Event and City staff will be maintaining the grounds each day as best as possible. 
    There will be handicap parking spots in Lot 9-the lot behind River Market Co-op and River Siren Brewing Co. From these parking spots, there is direct access to the bike path that will be fully plowed and sanded. 

    ADA port a potties are available on site in the event area.

    >What is the Prize Money for the winning sculpting teams? 

    $4,000 for 1st, $3,000 for 2nd, $1,000 for 3rd and People's Choice. Each winning team will be given a medal.

    >Are volunteer opportunities available? 

    YES! We are currently seeking community-oriented individuals for a variety of volunteer positions at this event. Please find additional details and sign up to volunteer HERE.

    >Is there a fee to attend?

    No fee to view the snow sculptures. Wednesday - Sunday Lowell Park is open to the public. Check out more event details HERE.

    >Can I purchase Event memorabilia?

    Yes! The Snow Store will be set up inside of Water Street Inn, Wednesday-Sunday. Wednesday & Thursday you can purchase items at a table in the Water Street Inn lobby; Friday-Sunday you can purchase items from the Snow Store at the Indoor Market Warming House in the Water Street Inn ballroom.     >Are dogs allowed?

    Yes, however they should NOT go close to the sculptures, they must be on a leash, owners are %100 responsible for them; and they must be very cute :)

    >How long with the snow sculptures be up after the event?

    The snow sculptures are expected to stay up until February 6 - weather dependent!

    >Reminder! NO Smoking allowed in any of the tents.

    Please dress for weather conditions and be aware that the walkways around the snow sculptures will become slippery. Event staff will be maintaining the event grounds to avoid this, as best as possible.
