On Sunday, August 24, 2025, more than 400 cyclists are expected to gather at Lowell Park in Stillwater for the third annual Ride to End ALZ – Minnesota, a scenic and impactful fundraising ride dedicated to ending Alzheimer’s disease. With a goal of raising $450,000 this year, 100% of the funds will go directly to support Alzheimer’s research.
Participants can choose from four route options: 10, 25, 45, or 70 miles, all of which culminate with a memorable crossing over the Historic Lift Bridge from Wisconsin back into Minnesota, finishing in the heart of Stillwater at Lowell Park.
“We’re proud to bring Ride to End ALZ back to Minnesota for a third year,” said Brian Tatum, Senior Associate Director, Ride To End Alzheimer’s. “This event is not only a beautiful day of riding but a powerful show of commitment to the millions affected by Alzheimer’s.”
The ride on August 24th will have fully supported routes with rest stops and support vehicles on alert. The post-ride celebration will feature a catered lunch and live music from local band, Ember. There will also be a special Champion’s Dinner on Saturday, August 23rd at the Grand Banquet Hall in Stillwater for riders who raise over $1,250 or more. The first two years in Maple Grove, Minnesota, the ride drew nearly 600 riders and raised $640,000 in support of groundbreaking research aimed at treating, preventing and ultimately curing Alzheimer’s disease.
