May 2018. Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated the new ownership of PartyOnStillwater at their Stillwater location on May 14. New business owner John Donahue was joined by business partners, family, friends, customers and Chamber Ambassadors.
Originally established in 2011, PartyOnStillwater is a full-service event planning company serving clients in the St. Croix Valley. The founder, Robin Anthony is the current Greater Stillwater Chamber Director, and decided to sell the business in 2017. Mr. Donahue knew Ms. Anthony and her business already because of his 20+ years of experience in the restaurant industry. “I got really excited when I heard Robin was selling her business – I’ve always wanted to own a small business and I understand the many aspects and details it takes to pull off a great event - it was just a perfect fit!” stated John. The ownership transfer occurred late in 2017.
PartyOnStillwater offers many services including party rentals, bartending service, wedding / event planning, promotional products for events and businesses, and customized gift baskets. With many well established and trusted partnerships in place, John can also support his clients with referrals for other event services such as activities, catering, photographers and venues.
