Chamber Welcomes River Valley Yoga Festival to the Chamber and Community

Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed the River Valley Yoga Festival to the Chamber and the community with a ribbon cutting celebration on June 21st, 2022. The event took place at a private farm in the Stillwater area.  Owner Allissa Obler, her clients, friends, Greater Stillwater Chamber Ambassadors and staff were there to join in the celebration.

The dream of establishing an annual Yoga Festival in our beautiful community began 6 years ago, literally in a dream.  Allissa shared her story, recalling how she kept this dream hidden and tried to make sense of how it could happen until one day it just came right out as a statement and everyone she told responded with such excitement and joy, she knew that it was just meant to be.  “There is so much serendipity wrapped up in this event- it all just came together” she said enthusiastically.  Obler also owns Mudita Wellness, a yoga and meditation studio, and takes great joy in helping others find peace and balance with self-care.

The River Valley Yoga Festival is a multi-day, outdoor event featuring yoga, meditation, forest bathing, sound healing, wisdom talks and more taking place September 23rd to the 25th. Located in the heart of the beautiful St. Croix Valley, you are destined to find peace, tranquility and activities that ignite your soul. The event will take place on a  beautiful farm overflowing with tall trees, birds and wildflowers. It is a place where you can rest and recharge with other like-minded souls. A place where you can nourish your mind, your body and your spirit. There will be unique, local vendors, meditations, discussions, wholesome, organic food and drinks to enjoy and of course plenty of yoga for everyone!  Obler is still taking volunteers, sponsors and vendors for the festival!  Be sure to follow her website for more details!
