Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed local business,
Lift Bridge Cowork - Union Block and The Victorian, to the Chamber and the community with a ribbon cutting celebration on December 1, 2021. The event took place at The Victorian at 109 Myrtle Street E., Stillwater, MN with over 50 guests in attendance.  Owners Jill and Justin Kaufenberg, their family, employee, tenants/renters, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff were there to join in the celebration.

With a passion for the historic buildings of Stillwater, Jill and Justin renovated the Union Block and Myrtle Street locations to their original states with modern finishes and technology upon purchasing the buildings in 2017. The renovations required multiple years of work, and Lift Bridge Cowork officially opened its doors in May 2019. The Union Block location at 310 Main St opened its doors with anchor tenant Mon Petit Cheri Bakery and Kitchen on the main floor.

The Union Block space is a traditional coworking space with memberships that include: Day Pass, Dedicated and Flexible Desk Memberships that are rented month-to-month. The cowork’s online technology makes reserving conference rooms easy and turnkey.

The newest addition to the Lift Bridge Cowork family, The Victorian, offers a dedicated floor for executives called the Board Room. It seats up to 16 along with an adjacent lounge and kitchenette for catering, boasting gig-speed internet and the newest AV technology. The Victorian also houses three private offices on the third floor, a start-up suite on the first floor, with five sit/stand desks, and an adjacent conference room.

Charm is all around at both locations. Jill and Lift Bridge Cowork Community Manager Jenny Pater, are equal parts engaging and accommodating. The buildings’ historic atmospheres make both appealing places to work. Grab a Mon Petit Cheri coffee from downstairs (Union Block) or research the history and previous uses of either building if you need a break in the action. Renovations to restore the original architecture and design elements of the building, which was built in 1885, resulted in Jill and Justin being awarded the Annual Preservation Award from the Stillwater Historic Preservation Commission in 2019.
