Chamber Celebrates New Location for Royal Credit Union

Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated local business
Royal Credit Union, with a ribbon cutting celebrating their new location on September 22nd, 2022. The event took place at 5795 Minnesota Ave North, Oak Park Heights, MN.  Royal Board Chairman, Tom Huffcutt, along with Royal President/CEO, Brandon Riechers and many Royal Credit Union Team Members, partners, guests, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff were there to join in the celebration.

The ribbon cutting celebration was also a way for Royal Credit Union  to honor a local non profit with a $500 award.  The recipient was The Partnership Plan for Stillwater Area Schools. The Partnership Plan began in 1989 and is the educational foundation for the Stillwater Area Public School district. Their vision is to champion innovative learning for every student, every year, by being the driving force that energizes and unites community investments in Stillwater Area Public Schools.  Rick Robbins,  Executive Director accepted the award and shared some thoughts on what a great community sponsor RCU has been to the community.

Both the Board Chairman, Tom Huffcut and Royal President/CEO, Brandon Riechers presented at the celebration sharing the history of Royal Credit Union and the emphasis on community involvement - with both monetary sponsorships as well as team members volunteering their time and talents.  Royal Credit Union was instrumental in assisting the Chamber with starting their Leadership in the Valley program. This kind of support was how Royal Credit Union began and how they have built their culture today. “Our values and culture are the driving force behind everything we do here at Royal Credit Union, and they're what make us a totally unique financial institution” said Brandon Riechers.
