WDGY’s 100th Anniversary with a ribbon cutting celebration on July 19th 2023. Brent Borgen, President of WDGY, along with his family, staff, fans, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff were gathered for the celebration. The event took place at the WDGY Station in Lakeland, with tours and music and celebration!
The Borgen Family has owned and operated WDGY for years, and keeping the station in line with their late father’s vision is driving their success. The station has shown huge growth over the past few years, and the addition of local well known On-Air staff such as Dr. Don , Sue Falls, Jeff Olsen and Janey Raven, and most recently Chris Shaffer, all with over 20 years of experience has also shown amazing benefits, and likewise, they are thrilled to be working at a family-owned local station in the East Metro!
