Dejan’s path to financial advisory started in science and institutional trading. With degrees in Computer Science and Chemistry, he approached finance as a rigorous, data-driven discipline. At the Chicago Board of Trade, he transacted over $1 billion in U.S. Treasury Notes daily and led discretionary trading operations for a technology-driven firm. He later earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
After seeing his own immigrant parents being overcharged and steered into high-commission products, Dejan founded SCM to provide a different experience. Today, SCM Investment Services provides comprehensive fiduciary wealth management for first-generation families and neighbors throughout the East Metro.
