Are you a high school or college student looking for real-world experience in nonprofit event planning and fundraising? Join the United Way of Washington County-East team this winter/spring and make a meaningful impact in your community.
Internship Dates: January 2025 – April 2025
Time Commitment: 8-10 hours per week, weekday daytime hours
Location: Downtown Stillwater, with occasional local travelAs an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience and valuable skills, including:
- Event planning and logistics
- Fundraising and donor relations
- Using platforms like OneCause and Bloomerang
- Professional communication and networking
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with event logistics, timelines, and schedules
- Help source and manage auction items
- Support gala setup, execution, and post-event wrap-up (event date: April 11, 2025)
- Ensure all event practices and communications reflect our commitment to inclusivity
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to take on a variety of tasks
