    Executive Director/CEO
    Robin serves as the Executive Director of the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce since 2016. Prior to that she worked twelve years in local and state government, 8 years in global consulting, and 6 years as a small business owner buiding a business from the ground up. She is a self-starter and team-player fostering collaboration, ability to multi-task, and to successfully work in face-paced organizations. She has a passion for the community and has lived in Stillwater for over 25 years.

    Jen’s offered professional coaching and training for 10 years. With a direct and engaging style, she has a natural talent for digging deep and asking tough questions that get straight to the heart of an issue. Specializing in working with leaders of multi-generational organizations to create innovative, top-performing, and fun teams.
    Helping people lead well and achieve more is her passion. While at the Duluth Chamber, she drove an organizational rebrand, ran record-setting membership campaigns, and expanded programming to include one of Minnesota’s first young professional organizations in 2005. Her work earned her the Duluth News Tribune’s 20 Under 40 Award.
    Sustainable cultures are what Jen does best. She created a team of 80+ internal coaches for a non-profit, helping community leaders become independent, engaged and confident.
    She enjoys the outdoors, local arts and building community wherever she finds herself.

    Director of Economic Development

    Chris Eng currently serves as the Director of Economic Development for Washington County, MN.  He has over 25 years’ experience in community and economic development working with the State of Minnesota, regional and at the city and county levels.  Previously, Chris served as the Director of Business & Economic Development for the City of Duluth, Executive Director of the Duluth Economic Development Authority and as the Executive Director of the Chisago County HRA/EDA.  Chris has also served a Vice President of Public Finance with Northland Securities.  He is a certified economic development finance professional and belongs to many organizations that seek to promote and further economic development opportunities in Minnesota.

    Proud to be the communications manager for the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce.  My role at the Chamber allows me to bridge business and community through marketing of our members, mission and events.
    At the Chamber, I am also Chair of the Women's Business Bridge, the largest gathering of women in the St. Croix Valley - currently 100+ women business professional members - who connect, learn & grow each month!
    I put a creative twist on marketing, branding, and social media, to engage our audience!

    Tom McCarty currently serves as the Stillwater City Administrator.  He has worked for over 30 years in county government, most recently as the Eau Claire County (WI) Administrator.  Tom has broad background and experience in public sector organization structure and operations, policy analysis, fiscal and personnel management.  He has been actively involved in alternative justice system and community citizen engagement initiatives.  Tom and his wife Darla currently reside in Stillwater.

    I am a local Independent Insurance Broker with over 13 years experience as an insurance agent.  Specializing in Auto, Home, Life, Business, I love to meet with people to review their current insurance coverage, explain they benefit from it and make any suggestions to insure all of their needs are met.
    I live here in Stillwater with my wife and three daughters. We spend most of our time traveling for volleyball, soccer and softball.
    Proud supporter of American Cancer Society's Relay for Life along with Stillwater Pony Athletics.  I am also a member of Stillwater Elks #179.

    Director of Community Education and Community Relations
    Annette Sallman is the Director of Community Education for Stillwater Area Public Schools.  She has more than 25 years of experience in education.   After joining the Stillwater school district in 2004, Annette served in several roles before assuming the director’s position in 2014.  Although she does not live in Stillwater she considers this her community.  Beyond her work for the school district, she is a board member for United Way Washington County East, serves on the Lakeview Health Foundation Health and Well-Being Advisory Committee and is an active chamber member.

    Event Coordinator
    Jeanne Tongson is the Event Coordinator for the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. She has over 20 years of experience in education, business development and event management. Jeanne has served with colleges throughout the midwest and North Carolina. As Director of Custom Training with Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN and Entrepreneurship Coach/Facilitator at Southeastern Community College, in Whiteville, NC she facilitated industry training and grant initiatives. As VP of Programming with the American Society of Training & Development and her coordination of the MN State Colleges Continuing Ed. State Conference earned her two awards. Jeanne has had the privilege to be a Chamber Ambassador and a graduate of Leadership Institutes with chambers in MN and IL. After 12 years away from MN, Jeanne and her husband, Joe, are thrilled to be back and enjoy hiking and exploring the St. Croix River Valley with their family.
