At the Friday, August 8th WBB monthly meeting, we welcome Oie Dobier, Bloomdocking to share about Running a 50K: The Pilgrimage I Didn’t Know I Was On
When Oie turned 50, she set out to run a 50K. She expected a physical challenge - to prove to herself that she can (still) do anything. But what she discovered offered something far more valuable: a reset.
In a world that rewards doing more, Oie’s story invites a different kind of growth - the kind that comes when we step away from the noise, challenge ourselves with intention, and create space for real reflection.

Meet our Speaker: Oie Dober
Oie Dobier is a business coach, speaker, and former corporate tech strategist turned entrepreneur. After 25+ years helping large companies streamline operations with smarter systems, she now brings that expertise to small business owners through her company, Bloomdocking.
Oie specializes in helping entrepreneurs shift from being the hardest-working operator in their business to becoming the strategic owner and architect of it - so they can grind less and grow more. Her practical, work-smarter strategies free up time,
sharpen focus, and build real momentum toward those big, big goals.Beyond her passion for helping others work smarter, Oie enjoys life with her husband Darren as they embrace the journey of being empty nesters. Their two adult children, Nya (23) and Dom (20), are now starting exciting new chapters in their own lives.
When she’s not coaching, Oie lives full-time in a camper van, exploring the country and fueling her spirit with quirky people encounters and breathtaking national park views!
