Career Pathways: Making high school more relevant and meaningful for students
The world doesn’t look like it did when many of us were growing up. Neither should our high school! Staff at Stillwater Area High School have spent the past several months re-designing the high school experience for their students.
Their goal: To improve student achievement while also making lessons more relevant and increasing the opportunities for students to experience real-world learning beyond the classroom.
Come learn about the plans underway to develop Career Pathways at SAHS, and what role local professionals - just like you - can play in helping students explore their career options and gain real-world experience.
The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present this quarterly educational offering, Toast & Topics. This event will provide our members and our community the opportunity to attend briefings on relevant local topics featuring an expert speaker and/or panel. The public is encouraged to attend.
A full breakfast buffet is included. Networking begins at 7:30 a.m. with the program start-time at 8:00 a.m. The event concludes at 9:00 a.m.
