Stressed Out? High Anxiety? Real Food Is the Answer!

Stress takes a tremendous toll on your health. Good nutrition protects you from the health conditions to which stress contributes including heart disease, pain and inflammation, depression, compromised immune system, memory and sleep problems. Well-known facts: sugar and processed carbs stress our bodies, protein and vegetables are stress –busting foods, and good fats balance moods and reduce anxiety. Learn how eating real foods can help you manage stress and anxiety. This course qualifies for 2.4 continuing education credits for registered nurses. RNs are responsible for determining whether this course meets their needs. This course was developed by Darlene Kvist, a licensed nutritionist. Instructor: Nutrition Educator for Nutritional Weight and Wellness.
The class fee is $25 for members, $30 for non-members.

The classes are held at the Loft, unless otherwise specified. The Loft is located at 218 North Main Street, on the second floor above Images of the Past and Present, directly across Main St. from River Market. Entrance is located on the south side of the building. The Loft has a room capacity of 21 people. Parking is not allowed in the space next to the building, please use street parking or the River Market parking lot.
