Carpenter learned in their travels, see the food they’ve made, photographed and eaten on the family china, get suggestions for monthly menus and present recipes and tips for foods of the season that you’ll return to again and again. They include instructions for drying and freezing along with simple, wholesome ideas and recipes to see you through the northern winters when there is nothing local, fresh, or green.
