Make Your Own Elderberry Syrup
-
Wednesday, January 22 6-8pm Join herbalist Heather Mashuga in learning how to make elderberry syrup. Help keep your loved ones and yourself healthy. Elderberry is wonderful for colds, coughs, and the flu. Elderberries are a rich source of vitamins A and C, which are crucial in helping your body maintain optimal health. The bioflavonoids in elderberry syrup boost the body’s immune system by increasing antioxidant levels and decreasing viruses that damage cell walls. You will learn about other ingredients to add to the syrup to help boost it, and how to make the syrup. You will leave with a bottle of elderberry syrup and a handout explaining how to make it again and what its medicinal properties are.
