“… where Barefoot Contessas and Hollywood filmmakers romp” –  Liguria is the only Italian region that borders with the sea to the south, the Alps to the north, and the Apennines to the east.  It benefits from the temperate climate of the Tyrrhenian Sea and draws protection from the natural barrier of the mountains.  This climate and history create a unique cuisine that combines land and sea.  Join Kristin from Savories Bistro as she prepares a beautiful lunch with a Ligurian them.  Enjoy Ravioli with Walnut Pesto; Warm Focaccia with Tomato, Roasted Onion and Olives; Shrimp Vermentino; and Lavender Panna Cotta with Almond Cookie.  We will also sample a sip of a wine or two from the Cinque Terra.
