Let's Make Lefse!

Learn how to make this thin, tasty, light traditional Norwegian flatbread. Working together, we will combine potatoes and other ingredients, shape this potato dough into balls, roll out into a thin potato pancake and cook it on a hot griddle. Slather on butter, sprinkle with sugar or spread with nut butters and jam, create a fresh fruit-chocolate-yogurt dessert or savory sandwich wrap. Just plain, hot off the grill is yummy. If you want, you can bring a large rolling pin, with a cloth cover and a zip lock baggie for the “good lefse-you betcha” to take home. Presented by Kathy St. Peters. The class fee is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
