The Formula for Change

The formula for change is (D x V) + F > R. This means that 3 factors must be present for meaningful change to take place:- D: Dissatisfaction with the current state
- V: The vision of what is possible
- F: First steps taken towards the vision
- R: Resistance to change
The product of these 3 factors must be greater than Resistance for change to be possible. We will be going through the exercise and how to apply it in various settings.

Starting with almost 20 years in corporate leadership, Ned took a leap of faith and started his own business in 2019. With the pandemic hitting only a few months later, it took a lot of quick-thinking and strategic planning to "weather the storm" and keep the business operating successfully. After building a team that successfully runs the business without him, Ned started a new career path with Evolve ActionCOACH to empower small business owners to achieve their goals and aspirations. As a coach, Ned understands the challenges that business owners encounter, familiar and unknown, and will leverage his expertise and experience to help you find the best solutions to grow your business successfully.
Participation in HYPE is open to Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce members and non-members under 40 - all young professionals in the St. Croix Valley.HYPE fosters psychological safety through tailored programming and engagement opportunities through our HYPE Series Offerings. HYPE Series will be cycled month to month ranging in relevant topics and activities, in differing locations across the River Valley area. These series offerings provide space for young professionals to discuss shared issues and solutions, grow as a leader, extend personal and professional networks, engage in our community and work towards building a young professional culture in our area.
