The tomatoes are put up, the garden is winding down, how do you overcome the end of the growing season blues? Preserve apples of course, what a wonderful way to warm the kitchen and fill your pantry on a chilly fall day. Join Sara Morrison, owner of The Backyard Grocery, who has a certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Extension for Acidified Canned Foods Training, to learn the ins and outs of canning apples and apple sauces.
