Exploring with Julia: A Culinary Road Trip & the Future of Cooking

From learning to bake crusty loaves from her family’s sourdough starter to studying classical French cooking in Paris, Lisa Golden Schroeder’s culinary explorations have been all about the roads less traveled. Join her in a lively conversation about our intriguing and sometimes confusing world of food and cooking, both far and near, and getting the phone call from Julia Child that paved her way to sharing a love of good food, true time in the kitchen, and building healthy communities.  This celebration of food and cooking held at the Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, September 26 will include a book fair featuring local authors and their cookbooks.  Local chef Kristin Klemetsrud of Savories Bistro fame, will be selling cookbooks from her own personal collection.
