Meet the Presenters:
Cody Uhrhammer, Financial Advisor, Edward Jones
Growing up in the small town of St. Croix Falls, WI, I was taught the value of hard work and caring for others by family and dear friends. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin -Stout, earning degrees in psychology and packaging engineering with a minor in military leadership.
I am a retired Army officer, where I enjoyed many leadership opportunities, instilling in me the importance of trust, relationships and loyalty. I am heavily involved with the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, where I serve as an Ambassador and serve on many steering committees and graduated from the Leadership in the Valley program.
I have a passion for helping others, and it is rewarding to see clients reach their goals. At Edward Jones, understanding what's important to our clients is the cornerstone of our culture. Since 1922, our established process has set us apart by putting our clients' needs first.
Kevin Johnson, Co-owner, Forward Accounting
Kevin Johnson is an Accountant with Forward Accounting, an accounting services and tax firm in Stillwater. He provides tax compliance, planning and accounting services to both businesses and individuals. Prior to launching Forward Accounting, he worked for Foley Kalseim team in Lake Elmo. Kevin practiced tax accounting with a large CPA firm in Minneapolis for over 5 years and also has over 10 years of small business management experience. Kevin serves on the Greater Stillwater Board of Directors and graduated from the Leadership in the Valley program. He lives in Stillwater with his wife and two children.
Martin Dikkers, MBA, CMAA, CEPA, CPA, Cardinal Business Advisors LLC
I have the rare combination of being able to relate to both the emotions and the numbers side of business, possessing a BA in Psychology and an MBA with an Accounting emphasis. In my career, I have worked with 100s of business owners, specializing in the manufacturing field, in various Chief Financial Officer-types of roles. As a “recovering CPA,” I began leading my own business, Cardinal Business Advisors, to include exit strategy and merger and acquisition (M&A) advising as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor in late 2022, complimenting my Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) certification from the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors.
