Adventure at the Acreage
-
Celebrate the early days of spring by bringing your family to Osceola for a guided snowshoe/hike at the Acreage at Osceola!
Our route is an easy, less than two-mile-long loop that offers plenty of spots to pause and take in the beauty of the prairie and woods. Easy parking and wide trails make the path accessible for families with the youngest nature enthusiasts. A barn offers the opportunity to say a gentle hello to alpacas, a donkey, and mini horses, and practice your animal track identification skills in the snow. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the beauty of a few memorable stops along the way, including statues and bee boxes!
We invite you to stay after the hike for s’mores and hot chocolate around the fire. Kids, and kids at heart, can also take home a St. Croix National Scenic Riverway Junior Ranger booklet for completion to receive your badge and continue learning about the special place that is the Riverway!
