Adoption: MN Waiting Child Orientation
-
There are currently 520 children under State guardianship in immediate need of families. Since 1998, HOPE has been one of nine chosen Minnesota agencies contracted by the State to find homes for children in foster care. You'll see this program also referred to as "PPAI" for Private/Public Adoption Initiative.
These children are usually over the age of 8. Many belong to sibling groups and are of color--all have significant special needs, whether emotional, physical or behavioral.
Come learn about the strengths, challenges and the process to adopt children who wait in MN foster care. This program is open to MN and WI Families only.
