SCULPTURE DESCRIPTION:
It is the game of the ancient Mexican civilizations. For the Mayans, the ball game was considered a ritual
of great political and religious importance that represented the regeneration of life and guaranteed the
cosmic order.The ball game was played in two teams on a rectangular court .The players had to hit the rubber ball with
their hips and thighs and introduce it into a stone hoop located 18 feet above the ground.
