Interested in school safety? Help us test our systems!
Stillwater Area Public Schools has been working hard to design a process to reunify students with their parents/guardians in the event a large-scale emergency ever occurs.
On Monday, March 30, 2020 we will practice and test this system and we need your help. We are seeking up to 150 volunteers to play the role of both parents and students. There’s no preparation or special skills required. We just need people willing to show up and follow a few simple instructions! Physical requirements include having to stand for approximately 30 minutes and walk the length of the St. Croix Valley Rec Center a few times. Adults will need transportation between Stillwater Area High School and the Rec Center.
Volunteers would need to be available from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. on March 30. If you and/or other members of you know are interested in volunteering for this event, please click here to register.
