1. When the Governor lifts the stay orders as to a particular business, what happens when business owners want to reopen or have employees return to work, and employee’s feel unsafe and do not want to work?
2. Can employees who have the ability to work from home demand the ability to continue working from home? Or can the Employer require them to return to the office?
3. Can an employer terminate an employee who refuses to return to work (assuming EE does not otherwise qualify for COVID-related eFMLA leave or other similar leave)?
4. Will such an employee who is terminated be entitled to unemployment benefits?
5. How can an Employer and employees protect themselves? Who is liable if someone in the workforce gets COVID-19?
