• Chamber Welcomes Forge and Foundry Distillery to the Chamber and community

  • Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed local business, Forge and Foundry Distillery, to the Chamber and the community with a ribbon cutting celebration on June 3, 2021. The event took place at 223 Main Street N., Stillwater, MN. Forge and Foundry owners, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff were there to join in the celebration.

Forge and Foundry Distillery was started by husband & wife team, Andrew Mosiman and Christie Wanderer and opened in August of 2020. Named after Stillwater’s late 1800’s foundry, Forge and Foundry Distillery is a family run, grain-to-glass craft distillery.

Andrew & Christie had their business idea brewing for 5 years. With an interest in distilled spirits and the entrepreneurial spirit, they began their business journey by taking business classes and travelling to Seattle, Washington to learn more about distilling.  They put a business plan together and began looking for the perfect spot - finding it in downtown Stillwater, in the space that

Northern Vineyards used to occupy. They transformed the space to fit their needs and opened their doors to rave reviews!

While they opened their doors at a time of uncertainty, they quickly became the “Spirit of Stillwater” as the community enthusiastically enjoyed their wonderful spirits.

“Stillwater really stepped up when we opened, buying cocktail kits, to keep us going! The Chamber also provided wonderful resources that assisted us greatly!” says Andrew Mosiman
