We Are One

As we strive to bring people together through promoting unity, may we help broaden the vision of acceptance and support for one another. Despite our differences, we become stronger when we choose to embrace the worth and value of others. In these unsettled times, we intently face this challenge by singing the music of unrepresented populations including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ composers. Their life experience, as reflected in their music,
brings to light the wonderful diversity we have around us. It is by embracing diversity and recognizing the contributions and differences in viewpoints provided by others that we become stronger, better, and leaders in uniting
and supporting humanity.

Maya Angelou once said that “in diversity there is beauty and there is strength”. We sing to embrace beauty and strength.
