September's Professional Development Series: "WWOHKD? Leadership Skills from America's Most Famous 19th Century Farmer, Oliver Hudson Kelley".
Join us for a lesson on Leadership and Perseverance by Maplewood Area Historical Society's Executive Director T.J. Malaskee.
T.J. Malaskee is the Executive Director of the Maplewood Area Historical Society and has been an integral part of propelling the organization into the 21st century. Malaskee's goal is to bring history to all populations represented in Maplewood and beyond. Maplewood is one of the most diverse east metro suburbs, with 40% of its residents identifying as Asian, Black, Native American or Hispanic, according to U.S. Census numbers. Malaskee says telling a fuller history of the region's people and cultures and hosting a more diverse array of events is important to making the historical society a "thought leader" moving forward.

These series will take young professionals on a journey of discovery in understanding your own professional strengths and will allow experienced, career-minded individuals the chance to hear from great Stillwater Area leaders on how to further develop professionally and in your own career.
HYPE: Harnessing Young Professional Energy is designed for young professionals under 40 in the St. Croix Valley and surrounding communities. You must be a HYPE Member or one-time guest to attend this series event- there is no charge to attend this series event once you have joined!
Participation in HYPE is open to Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce members and non-members under 40. Membership is NOW OPEN!

Non HYPE members can either pay $25 for a pay as you go option to attend this event, or pay to join HYPE an annual fee of $100. This is a ticketed event and everyone must pay or be a member to attend.
