EcoQuest: Family Fun Game Night

What do forests, birds, food webs, and strategy games have in common? You'll discover the answer at EcoQuest: Family Fun Game Night! Join Sustainable Stillwater MN and Green Guardian Wealth Management for a relaxed evening of food, drinks, and nature-inspired tabletop games during Valley Climate Action Week. Whether you're an experienced gamer or completely new to modern board games, this welcoming event is designed to bring people together while exploring the incredible connections found in nature. The evening will be hosted by Jeff Reigle of Green Guardian Wealth Management, who will introduce participants to a collection of award-winning nature-themed strategy games and help players learn the rules, get started, and enjoy the experience. No prior gaming experience is necessary—Jeff will guide the evening, making it easy for everyone to jump in and have fun. Participants will have the opportunity to play games including Ecosystem, Forest Shuffle, and Wingspan. Along the way, you'll discover fascinating concepts like biodiversity, wildlife habitats, food webs, and the delicate balance that keeps ecosystems healthy—all through friendly competition and hands-on play. The featured games are best suited for ages 10 and older, making this a perfect outing for families, teens, adults, and grandparents alike. Younger children are also warmly welcomed! We'll have age-appropriate activities available so the entire family can enjoy the evening together. Pizza and refreshments will be provided, creating plenty of opportunities to meet new people, connect with neighbors, and enjoy an evening centered around community and conservation. While the featured games are designed for older participants, we'll provide age-appropriate activities so everyone in the family can join the fun. Volunteers will be available to teach each game, making it easy for first-time players to jump in and have fun.
