Swackhamer is Professor and Charles M. Denny Jr.\, Chair in Science\, Technology\, and Public Policy in the Hubert H\, Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota\, and Co-Director of the University's Water Resources Center. She studies the processes affecting the behavior of\, and exposures to\, toxic chemicals in the environment and works on policies to address these potential risks.\n\n \n\n\n The program will be Wednesday\, May 9\, 2012\, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Grand Banquet Center located at 301 South 2nd Street in Stillwater.
