DESCRIPTION:Meditation is a fun\, natural\, effective method for teaching children to cope with stress\, express themselves in positive ways\, and ground themselves in the present moment. This class will teach a simple grounding meditation that children can learn to use when they encounter a stressful or difficult situation. Activities in music\, art and movement to reinforce concepts in grounding\, letting go\, and awareness will be included. This class is intended for children ages five and older and their parents. Please bring a mat\, pillow\, and blanket for your child to class. Presented by Katie Corbett\,Certified Child Meditation Facilitator.The class fee is $7 per child\, free for the parents. Seating is limited so sign up early!
