January, 2018. Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for new retailer, Uncommon Cents on January 25th in downtown Stillwater. Owner David Greenhow, his business partner Debora Greenhow, family, and Chamber Ambassadors attended the event.
Uncommon Cents is a retail coin shop established in January 2017. Co-owner David Greenhow inherited a large coin collection from his Grandmother who passed away in 2015. With his mother, he decided to open a shop to serve coin collectors as a resource for buying, selling and appraising. Mr. Greenhow will gladly help his customers source rare coins and collectibles and is rapidly becoming an expert in the field of numismatists, the study or collection of currency, including coins. Uncommon Cents does not carry a large inventory of high priced, ultra-rare coins – they carry a wide variety of affordably priced, uncommon coins.
“We are excited to be a part of the Stillwater business community!” stated David. “Our primary goal at Uncommon Cents is to provide exceptional customer service, and although we buy and sell precious coins and currency, our customers are the most precious to us!”
