January, 2018. Hudson, WI. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for new member, Daymakers Moving & Storage on January 29 in Hudson, Wisconsin. The Daymakers leadership, moving team and Chamber Ambassadors joined in the celebration event at their warehouse.
Locally owned and operated by the Higgins family since 2015, the team at Daymakers Moving and Storage say they guarantee to make your day! Serving the St. Croix Valley on both sides of the river, they offer professional, fast and friendly moving and packing services, excellent customer service, state-of-the-art climate- controlled storage, local and long-distance relocation, and personalized services to meet client needs.
“Our friendly employees genuinely enjoy what they do and aim to make your day! When you call us, you’ll reach the same people each time who know your name and care about your move, not just a corporate call-center” stated owner Libby Higgins.
A unique service that Daymakers provides is to move unwanted furniture from homes they are moving that is in good shape to their warehouse. They donate these items to local families in need, making it very easy for clients in the busy time of moving to get rid of items they no longer want or need.
Daymakers Moving & Storage is highly community focused with 10% of all profits each year given to support a local recovery and addiction program. They provide free emergency relocation services to victims of sexual assault and domestic abuse, in connection with two local shelters. They are also proud supporters of Move for Hunger, donating hundreds of pounds of non-perishable food items to local food pantries yearly. In addition, they have repeatedly loaded trucks with basic need items like water and blankets and driven those much-needed supplies to victims of the hurricanes in Texas this past year.
