September 2017. Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed new member, Whatnot Boutique at a ribbon cutting celebration on September 14. The event took place at the location of another Chamber member, Stillwater Skin in Oak Park Heights. Both the teams of Whatnot Mobile Boutique, and Stillwater Skin attended, as did customers of both businesses, Chamber Ambassadors, and other local business owners.

Whatnot Boutique has been in the retail business for 15 + years.  Owner Christine John is from Stillwater and grew up in the community.  She converted a vintage ol’ potato chip delivery truck she found in the Fargo area into mobile traveling boutique, complete with designer lighting, plank wood floors, distressed walls, dressing room and air conditioning. They recently won “Mobile Boutique of the Year in Minnesota” from The Boutique Hub, who received 400,000 votes nationwide.

Chris loves working with women to help them find fun, trendy clothing at great prices. Whatnot Boutique is mobile and Chris loves working events all over the metro. She does home shows, corporate events, fundraising events and recently collaborated with Stillwater Skin, setting up a pop-up boutique inside the business. “I love helping women find that perfect article of clothing or accessory that gets them excited” stated Chris. “It’s so much fun offering suggestions for items a client might not normally try, or for unique combinations, and I think that’s a big part of the value I provide. I purchase from coast to coast for trendy items with excellent price points to match!”
