Inspiration Performing Arts Center Under New Ownership

Lauren Martin is the new owner of Inspiration Performing Arts Center

August 2017. Mahtomedi, MN. Inspiration Performing Arts Center has announced that they were purchased by their Studio Director and Dance Instructor, Lauren Martin earlier this summer. Established in 2005 by Katie Owings, Inspiration Performing Arts Center’s (IPAC) mission is to educate and inspire students through the arts. Miss Owings made the decision to sell so she could focus her full attention on her non-profit organization which is now a part of the Dennis Dease Foundation, serving the children of Uganda.

IPAC strives to provide an uplifting atmosphere where students are able to cultivate a passion for the arts, and their programs promote and enhance self-confidence, creativity, and self-expression. They serve many children and families in the St. Croix Valley at their Mahtomedi location. Lauren Martin has been with IPAC since she graduated from college in 2011. With a degree in dance and a minor in child psychology, she moved quickly from teaching dance to Studio Director, and now to ownership. “I am excited to be running this wonderful organization” stated Lauren, “and truly passionate about inspiring students to tap into their innate passion for movement, creativity, theater, and song – I love this work!”

Entering their 12th season with steady growth since the beginning, IPAC offers classes in Dance, Music, Acting, Art, and Yoga. With a current student base of 300, IPACs programs are always age-appropriate and inspiring.

Their fall classes begin on September 11, and more information can be found at
