Stillwater, MN – The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed new member Chef Paul Mahoney from Taste! LLC on April 4 at a ribbon cutting celebration. The event took place at 210 Laurel, a gorgeous home newly available for rent on the North Hill in Stillwater.
Chef Paul is a private chef and offers in home dinner parties. He also offers cooking classes within private homes. He has done dinner events as small as two people and as large as 150, and works with his clients to come up with a menu that brings them culinary joy! “I bring all of the food and prepare the meal in the client’s kitchen using my own cooking equipment. I also serve the meal from start to finish which allows the host to enjoy their guests and the meal”.
Paul spent decades in the corporate world and always loved to cook as a hobby. He finally decided to make his hobby his vocation and left his corporate job. In 2012 he graduated from Hennepin Technical College with a degree in Culinary Arts and then went on to study in Florence, Italy. He worked in the kitchen at White Bear Yacht Club and in 2014 he became his own boss at Taste! LLC.
“This is a labor of love!” stated Chef Paul, who’s fees for his services are very reasonable.
In 2012 Chef Paul gained recognition when he finished first in the Minnesota Culinary Arts Skills competition and then represented Minnesota at the National Skills Competition in Kansas City, where he placed 11th in the nation.
